Duties
- Lead and supervise the culinary team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth daily operations
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends, dietary needs, and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and uphold health regulations across all kitchen activities
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and high standards of service
- Monitor shift management, staffing schedules, and training programs to maintain an efficient workforce
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts
- Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervising teams in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of dietary department practices, including special dietary accommodations and food handling protocols
- Demonstrated expertise in kitchen management, inventory control, and cost management strategies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, catering operations, and restaurant management systems
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for hospitality and serving guests at the highest level
