Duties

• Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including pastries and desserts, following established recipes and standards.
• Pack and package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation quality.
• Help with food handling and safety procedures to ensure all products meet hygiene standards.
• Contribute to food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and finishing desserts efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pastry section and storage areas.
• Support catering events by preparing baked goods and assisting with setup when needed.

Experience

• Prior pastry experience or baking background is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
• Experience in food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment preferred.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques related to baking and pastry arts.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Culinary experience that demonstrates an understanding of food industry standards and quality control.
