What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corrugate Tech position at JES, LLC?
We're hiring Corrugate Technicians for our overnight shift. Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. The main responsibility is to collect, break down, and dispose of corrugated cardboard and other recyclable materials throughout the facility to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Operate baler, auger, and trash compactor, sweep floors, support cleaning team, empty trash, and wood bins throughout the distribution center. Utilize power industrial trucks (PIT) to collect corrugate and recycling from one designated area to another within the distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Collect cardboard and corrugated materials from designated areas.
- Break down cardboard boxes and transport materials to recycling or baler areas.
- Operate cardboard balers or compactors if trained and authorized.
- Keep warehouse work areas clean and free of debris.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and recycling guidelines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move cardboard and materials as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable attendance and attention to safety.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
