Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. You will be responsible for managing multiple tables, taking orders, and assisting with guest relations while maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable, ensuring timely service.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, striving to enhance guest relations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specials and promotions, to effectively upsell and increase sales.
- Sanitate work areas regularly to comply with health regulations and maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help team members as needed.
