LIFE SKILLS TRAINER
Pay: $23/hour | Part-Time or Full-Time | Colorado
We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Life Skills Trainer to help adults with disabilities develop skills for greater independence and successful community living.
What You'll Do
- Work one-on-one with members in their homes and communities
- Teach everyday skills such as shopping, meal preparation, budgeting, organization, communication, and community participation
- Help members build confidence, independence, and decision-making skills
- Transport members when authorized
- Complete simple service documentation
- Follow member service plans and safety requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 5 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Acceptable driving record and auto insurance
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
