We are seeking a dedicated Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our professional cleaning team. Duties
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners and extractors, to effectively remove dirt, stains, and allergens from carpets and upholstery
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces
- Conduct routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to ensure cleanliness of work areas
- Apply environmentally friendly cleaning solutions in accordance with safety guidelines
- Inspect work areas to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly
- Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies after each job
- Communicate with clients to assess their cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Follow safety protocols at all times during cleaning procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to perform buffing, polishing, and other floor maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the workday
