Sales and Sponsor Outreach Intern

●      Research and identify prospective sponsors within the local community.

●      Contact businesses through phone calls, emails, and in-person networking opportunities.

●      Assist in creating sponsorship proposals and customized partnership packages.

●      Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective sponsors.

●      Maintain accurate records of leads, communications, and partnership opportunities.

●      Help activate sponsorship agreements by ensuring sponsor benefits are fulfilled during games and community events.

●      Assist with sponsor recognition through social media, game-day announcements, signage, and promotional materials.

●      Represent the Jersey Shore Breaks at networking events, community appearances, and business functions.

●      Collaborate with the marketing and game-day operations teams to maximize sponsor visibility.

●      Perform additional sales and business development tasks as assigned.

●      Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

●      Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with business professionals.

●      Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

●      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

●      Interest in sports management, marketing, business, communications, or sales is preferred but not required.

●      Reliable transportation is preferred for attending meetings and community events

●      Time management

●      Ability to multitask with several project details at once

●      Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

●      Type: Internship / Part-Time (Academic Credit)

●      Schedule: Weekdays as needed, Evenings and weekends required; based on athletic event
