Floor Technician / EVS Housekeeper
We are currently seeking to fill the available slots for the Floor Technician / EVS Housekeeper positions in the healthcare industry.
Candidates are expected to work as directed and follow daily project assignments.
When no floor care projects are available, the individual will be responsible for Cleaning, Sanitizing, Preparing or Maintaining spaces used for medical purposes. The schedule for this position is five days per week and on weekends.
- Hourly Wage - $19.00 to $24 based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Buffing
- Striping
- Waxing
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms and other common areas.
- Removing Medical waste from Surgery and examination rooms
- Notify managers of necessary repairs or shortages of materials
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms
- Collect and dispose of trash.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday and weekends
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping Floor Tech services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus
- 1 year of Floor Tech experience preferred.
- Speak English.
- Own transportation.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday and weekends as needed
- Evening shift / 3rd shift

Physical Demands:
- The position requires the frequent walking, and standing for extended periods of time, and the performance of physical labor.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally,
- 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force
- Must be able use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- The position requires full mobility of the back, arms, and legs in the course of performing this job.
