Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant preferred
- Culinary experience is a plus; familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha or Micros) is advantageous but not required
