Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing registers, and processing payments with accuracy
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support kitchen operations by managing food prep tasks and coordinating with team members for smooth service flow
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication, collaboration, and flexibility during busy hours
- Follow all sanitation guidelines and safety procedures to uphold health standards within the restaurant
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
