As a Lead at Jersey Mike’s, you set the pace and standard for your team. You are the right hand to the management team and a go-to for crew members. With a mix of leadership, service, and hustle, you help maintain the vibe, drive performance, and ensure each guest receives a sub above.

In this role, you will:

• Support and guide the crew during shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Jump in on the line to prep, slice, and build sandwiches when needed
• Deliver excellent guest service with friendliness, speed, and accuracy
• Help train new team members and reinforce company standards
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety procedures are followed
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and daily prep tasks
• Take initiative to solve problems and maintain a positive team environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or retail preferred but not required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and customer-focused
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $11 per hour - $13 per hour

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Tasks may involve unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, moving equipment, and other labor-intensive duties in a fast-paced environment.
