Team Member/Shift Lead

We are Grand Opening a new Jersey Mike's in Saint Matthews! All shifts and hours are available!

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Member who is ready to bake our fresh bread and slice our fresh onions, lettuce, and tomatoes white following proper daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service, punctual attendance, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. As a Jersey Mike's Opener, you will be responsible for creating a positive work environment while Setting up the store for the rush!

Duties

• Proper slicing of Onion, Lettuce Tomatoes, (MUST BE 18 years or older to use the slicer)
• Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills in food handling, customer service, and operational tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas to provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of hospitality at all times.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing operational strategies that drive sales growth and improve overall performance.
• Self motivated. This position is a Key holder position who must be on time and great with time management.

Skills

• Proven experience in shift management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling best practices.
• Ability to develop training programs that enhance team performance and service delivery.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory control and kitchen management.
• Effective communication skills to foster teamwork and maintain positive guest relations.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to help staff navigate challenges during busy shifts.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
