Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift scheduling, staff supervision, and ensuring smooth service flow.
• Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to uphold service excellence.
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and food handling regulations.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
• Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards and conduct regular kitchen inspections to uphold hygiene practices.
• Support budgeting activities, profit and loss analysis, and implement strategies to enhance restaurant profitability.

Experience

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service.
• Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams, including staff training and development.
• Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings, including banquet or catering experience, is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage restaurant operations confidently.
• Previous assistant manager or managerial experience within the food industry is required; hospitality management background is a plus.
