The Opportunity
Are you an international student looking to gain experience in U.S. Event Management and Corporate Relations? This internship offers a front-row seat to the planning and execution of large-scale professional events. You will work directly on prestigious programs like Best Places to Work 2026, 40 Under 40, and Women in Leadership.
This role is ideal for students who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how American corporate events are researched, marketed, and executed.
Key Learning Responsibilities
Under the guidance of our Group Managing Director, you will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

Event Research & Planning: Learn how to identify potential venues, keynote speakers, and industry trends to shape our 2026 event calendar.

Webinar & Virtual Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, technical setup and moderation of virtual workshops designed to help NJ job seekers find work, faster.

Awards Program Management: Help manage the nomination and selection process for signature awards such as 40 Under 40 and Women in Leadership.

On-Site Logistics: Assist with "Day-Of" execution for in-person events (registration, vendor coordination, and guest relations) to ensure a seamless experience for New Jersey’s top professionals.

Stakeholder Outreach: Practice professional communication by reaching out to local employers, sponsors, and award nominees.

Post-Event Analysis: Learn to gather and analyze attendee feedback and "Return on Investment" (ROI) data to improve future programming.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Hospitality, Communications, Business, or PR preferred).

Organizational Skills: A passion for checklists, timelines, and logistics.

Professionalism: Ability to represent Jersey Hired professionally when interacting with high-level executives and community leaders.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing both digital platforms (Zoom/Teams) and physical event spaces.

Eligibility: Ideal for international students (F-1/J-1) seeking to gain American "B2B" (Business-to-Business) networking experience.
