Position Overview
Jersey Craft Exteriors is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Part-Time Customer Service Associate to join our office team in Fair Lawn. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing phone calls, and coordinating appointments while providing exceptional support throughout the customer experience.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a key role in ensuring every customer receives professional and timely assistance.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and estimate visits for our sales team.
- Assist new customers by gathering project information and entering it into our system.
- Support existing customers with project updates, scheduling changes, and general questions.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and follow up with customers.
- Coordinate with office staff and project managers to ensure accurate scheduling.
- Maintain customer records and update information in company software.
- Respond to emails and text messages in a timely manner.
- Handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Provide general administrative support to the office as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable answering a high volume of phone calls.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous customer service or office experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating calendars.
- Experience in construction, home improvement, or service industries is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer concerns.
