Hotel Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Jersey City, NJ
Hotel: 70-room hotel
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining hotel facilities and be able to independently troubleshoot and address a variety of maintenance issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and guest rooms
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance issues
- Repair doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and other hotel equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep the property in excellent condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards
- Assist with other maintenance duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous professional maintenance experience is required
- Hotel maintenance experience is strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Good communication (English as primary language) and customer-service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties
Compensation & Schedule
$23.00 per hour
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Only experienced maintenance candidates should apply. Candidates without previous maintenance experience will not be considered.
Position is located in Jersey City but interviews will take place in Carlstadt
