Seasonal Marina Cashier/Booking Desk Agent - Pirates Cove Marina & Pavilion, LLC.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Seasonal Sales Associate/Cashier & Booking Desk Agent to join our team at Pirate’s Cove Marina during the months of April to September. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fishing and excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and assist captains in charter booking reservations. This position requires multitasking abilities to handle sales transactions efficiently, assisting customers over the phone, email and in-person, answering their questions and organizing their fishing reservations while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Book charter reservations by phone, email, and in-person.

• Answer customer questions as it relates to charter bookings.

• Communicate with captains regarding their upcoming and past trips.

• Maintain organized booking reservation records.

• Accept online and in-person payments for upcoming, past, and present bookings.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services

• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, cash handling, and credit card transactions.

• Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing.

• Provide information about marina services, including dock rentals and fueling options.

• Assist customers in selecting merchandise

SKILLS/PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

• Proper etiquette on telephones, handheld radios, email, and in-person.

• Knowledge of fishing and nautical terminology or the ability to learn quickly.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Skilled in the use of computers.

• Skilled in math and attention to detail.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Reading and writing work-related documents in English.

• Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
