Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ventilation systems using schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Perform duct cleaning services to improve indoor air quality and system efficiency.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC equipment, plumbing connections, and appliance repairs.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Read technical schematics and mechanical drawings to ensure precise installation and servicing of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems.
- Operate a
driver vehicle safely to transport equipment, tools, or materials between job sites. - Collaborate with team members on field service projects involving ammonia refrigeration or complex mechanical systems.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, or appliance servicing.
- Familiarity with construction processes and property maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Prior field service experience involving HVAC/R systems or mechanical troubleshooting is highly valued.
