We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain recommended repairs and services clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and cost breakdowns.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer satisfaction and shop productivity.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage service writing tasks including creating work orders, tracking vehicle status, and updating customers on progress.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all payments received.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including diesel engines, auto body repairs, air brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs such as brake systems, transmissions, oil changes, tire service, suspension work, and auto body repairs.
- Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing processes.
- Experience in upselling vehicle maintenance services while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including diesel engine repair and specialty systems like air brakes or alignments is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
