Server and Lead Servers

A Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Lead Server and Server Position represents the face of Jeremiah’s and is responsible for ensuring 5-star customer service is delivered to every guest. A Lead Server may be responsible for opening/closing the store, counting registers, and ensuring their shift runs smoothly. We’re a vibrant, high-energy crew known as the Frog Squad! We proudly serve flavorful Italian Ice and soft ice cream in a fun, upbeat environment. We're seeking friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Server:

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a smile
• Prepare and serve Italian Ice and soft ice cream with care
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and customer space
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Be a team player and bring the fun!

Lead Servers (in addition to above):

• Assist in opening/closing responsibilities
• Lead and motivate the team during shifts
• Serve as point of contact for shift questions and coaching
• Maintain high standards of product quality and
• Conduct daily pre-shift huddles to review the Launch Pad
• Ensure standards and policies are followed
• Coach and counsel Team Members
• Follow and enforce sanitation standards and procedures; maintain the patio, walkways and parking lot
• Ensure side work is complete
• Count drawers at open/close
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, catering orders, Rewards Program and other areas; ensure Team Members are knowledgeable in all areas as well
• Maximize profitability through upselling, portion control, monitoring accuracy of charges, cash handling procedures and community marketing initiatives

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Lead Server: 6 months of leadership or shift lead experience preferred

The Physical

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds
• Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.50 - $14.00 per hour
