Full Time Food Truck Driver/Food Truck Employee/--401K/ 401k Match

Job Type: Full Time- 26 paychecks per year-the training period would be at $24 an hour until both parties agree that this is the right fit

Date Begin--Part Time Evaluation to begin immediatley.....Full Time to Begin as soon as both parties agree we are the right fit for one another

Pay: $36 k per year plus a $500 performance bonus on 7/31 payroll and $500 performance bonus on the last payroll of year, Tips should amount to 6k-7k (payroll) and another 6k in cash*** (will discuss possible top end of pay privately) Profit Sharing Plan*** (Will discuss this as well)--

Overtime: Occasionally you may potentially be asked to work overtime- You will be compensated at the rate of $30 per hour for overtime in addition to salaried paycheck and gratuity***

Paid Floating Vacation: 8-10 Weeks Beginning in Mid-Late November thru Mid March-There is work...It is just sporadic. This job is a great compliment with an app style job, where you can work when you want.

Seasonal Business: March-Slower-Still Winter

April-October--Busy Season- We work hard

November things begin to slow-Time off begins (although there is always something to do)

December-We get a little Holiday push

Jan & Feb-Very Slow, Repairs on trucks, relax, travel, take care of self--very valuable component of this job as payroll's are still being run.

A) We sell our products at various Food Truck Festivals and are hired (A Ton) within the private catering sector of the business.

B) We are looking for someone who is motivated to work and make maximum $$ during their time spent working. The job is incentivized .with Tips (that you pay no federal tax on in 2025-2028), Cash Tips, 401k/Profit Share and potential for Bonus

C) The person must be able to drive and operate our fleet of trucks and work on the food truck. Truck driving/professional kitchen experience is a must/ plus. .

D) Our season really kicks into high gear in April-November.We had our busiest years on record in 2025, and 2024 . In 2022 I introduced a 401K Option with a Profit Share (into a retirement account)

QUALIFICATIONS

1. The candidate must be responsible, and also occasionally an "early riser", and must be able to function early in the morning on occasion (we pull out early for a lot of corporate lunches in PA).
2. There is also some lifting involved, and must be able to bend, stoop or lift up 35 lbs
3. I need a RELIABLE person ,and they must have a valid NJ Drivers License and a working cell phone.

4. The person must be able to work in a standing position for longer periods of time, but taking a break is always recommended. It can be faced paced and you must be able to move a bit.
5. The person must be able to communicate effectively, and maintain a calm demeanor.

7. Previous Large Truck driving experience is recommended

8. Previous Food Service Experience would be great.

Job Duties (May) Include
A) Organizing product on the trucks for the upcoming jobs

B) Helping take inventory

C) Communicating effectively with coworkers concerning product needed and/or loaded onto the trucks

D) Driving a company issued pickup for product pickup

E) Meeting Delivery people in Berlin for delivery of product

F) Cleaning/Washing of the trucks

G) Cleaning out the truck at the end of the shift

H) Becoming familiar with the equipment that helps make our business successful

I) Driving the Food Truck to and from jobs

J) Using effective customer service skills while at remote locations to serve the people delicious food.

K) Cooking/Prepping product to get ready for the event (you will have experienced help with this

L) Serving the people their food in a professional, happy manner to earn a solid tip

E) Profit Share--Must be an active and working employee as of 12/31 of the year worked. The profit share is run closer to tax time. This is based on your earnings and goes into a 401k retirement plan.

Perfect scenario is that the person has some aspect of cooking/ food services as well as small/medium truck driving experience. If one of these skill sets is not possessed we may/should be able to train you on either end as long as you are hard working, and willing to learn, safe and care.
