Experienced Drafter

Job Title: Drafter/ Experienced Journeyman

The role requires an energetic and collaborative approach to design/ build projects and the proven ability to solve problems independently. The ideal candidate should have a pleasant manner, strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced individual responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned projects to ensure effective execution.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

·        3 years of demonstrated experience in all phases of architecture, including substantial and varied experience in project planning.

·        Proficiency in completing construction documents, detail oriented with knowledge of building codes is desired.

·        Flexibility in working on multiple projects in different disciplines daily.

·        Fluent in AutoCAD & Revit, with Sketch-up, Photoshop and Microsoft projects

·        Construction industry experience

·        Administration of projects requires knowledge of Microsoft Office and exhibit a capacity to organize and manage time effectively.

·        Participate in Team oriented project delivery progress where each project will be developed from conceptualization through permitting and construction.

·        Create and coordinate architectural floor plans, elevations, sections and details for various projects.

·        Self-driven, professional, high energy and receptive to learning on the job

·        Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

·        Self-confident, tenacious while maintaining positive working relationships with clients, outside consultants, and technical staff

·        Ability to adapt to a small office environment and assist with junior staff training

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

·        Coordinate all project efforts to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects through all phases of development.

·        Responsible for creating accurate CAD/ Revit drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits
