Position Description
Essential Functions
- Lead the strategy and execution of all IT application platforms across JERA Americas.
- Oversee application engineering for systems supporting:
- Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM): Ensure platforms meet trading, compliance, and risk requirements.
- SAP Systems: Manage application delivery and integration across SAP modules.
- Enterprise Applications: Guide development and support of business-critical systems.
- Integration Services: Drive middleware and API strategies for seamless data flow across platforms.
- Collaborate with IT operations, enterprise architecture, and PMO to ensure cohesive execution of technology initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable and secure application solutions.
- Coordinate with global teams, including JERA Tokyo, to align on standards, platforms, and shared initiatives.
- Promote agile development practices and continuous improvement across application teams.
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance business capabilities.
- Maintain documentation, roadmaps, and architectural alignment for all application platforms.

- Strong understanding of enterprise-wide application architecture and business processes.
- Experience with cloud-based application development and integration.
