The VP of Product Operations will drive operational excellence across the product organization by improving visibility into R&D investments, enabling data-driven decision making, and optimizing cross-portfolio performance. This leader will serve as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM teams—ensuring alignment between product strategy, roadmap delivery, and financial outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of product operations expertise, analytical rigor, and executive-level communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a clear, data-driven view of R&D spend, allocation, and ROI to help guide investment decisions across product lines

Build and manage frameworks for roadmap visibility, status tracking, and executive reporting across the product portfolio

Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to operationalize planning processes, including quarterly/annual planning, prioritization, and resource modeling

Lead revenue forecasting efforts for product initiatives, partnering with Finance and GTM teams to model impact, track performance, and adjust strategic priorities

Drive cross-portfolio pricing strategy, ensuring cohesion between products, alignment with market dynamics, and optimization of revenue potential

Establish and improve systems, tools, and processes that enable predictable delivery, transparency, and accountability across the product organization

Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends

Mentor and develop a high-performing Product Operations team
Basic Qualifications:

10 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Business Operations, or a related function

Proven experience building and scaling operational processes within a product-driven or technology organization

Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and investment modeling

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights

Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM teams

Experience leading and developing teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a SaaS, technology, or R&D-heavy environment

Background working with multi-product or portfolio-based organizations

Familiarity with software development lifecycle and engineering planning tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Productboard)

Strong understanding of pricing strategy, packaging, and revenue optimization

MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $225,000-$260,000 USD.
