Key Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Negotiations: Take primary responsibility for negotiating and executing contracts, including sales, licensing, and intellectual property agreements.
- Represent ForeFlight with Customers: Serve as the lead negotiator in external engagements with diverse global customers.
- Shape Business Solutions: Present and develop innovative contractual solutions that drive growth and preserve Boeing’s business interests.
- Manage Contractual Risk: Summarize complex issues, develop mitigation strategies, and guide teams through risk management.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead coordination across finance, legal, operations, and other functions to align contractual strategy.
- Assess & Mitigate Risk: Conduct contractual risk analyses, recommend solutions, and coordinate mitigation strategies.
- Balance Priorities: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a global team environment.
- Mentor & Support Team: Share expertise and help build capability across the contracts team.
- Travel as Needed: Domestic and international travel may be required.
- 7 years of experience in contracts, procurement, finance, or related business functions.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Proven skills in negotiation, communication, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to manage complex, high-pressure situations with sound judgment.
- High standards of ethics, integrity, and collaboration.
- 8 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts/subcontracts.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity when contracting with a foreign military and/or government.
- Experience with US Government contracting methods and their FARs and DFARs
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and high-level customer negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, contracts, legal, or related field.
