Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking experienced, customer-focused International Trip Planning Specialists (Dual-Qualified) to join our Trip Planning team. This role combines international trip coordination with flight planning duties: ensuring compliant, efficient, and safe travel operations for our clients while preparing and distributing accurate flight plans. We are hiring for two locations: Fully Remote(2) US. Candidates must be comfortable working across time zones and with international regulations (FAA, EASA and other national authorities).
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and update trip planning tasks to ensure accurate, timely support for each trip.
Communicate with departure/destination airports, ground handlers, and local authorities to arrange required services.
Coordinate domestic and international customs processes, including APIS/advanced passenger information setup.
Track active flights and provide real-time updates to airports, handling teams, and customers.
Create, verify, package, and transmit routine and complex flight plans, weather briefings, and alternate/contingency itineraries to customers.
Acquire, distribute, and interpret relevant aeronautical publications and NOTAMs for flight crew compliance and safety.
Maintain customer operational files: handle overflight/landing permits, diplomatic clearances, ground handling, fueling, hotel and transport bookings.
Initiate and maintain flight folders including itineraries, diplomatic requests, fuel and handling orders, and trip-specific services using the Trip Planning System.
Advise customers on route/itinerary planning based on diplomatic requirements, airport restrictions, fuel availability, aircraft performance, and political/regional considerations.
Research and maintain vendor/service agency and diplomatic clearance contacts and update internal databases.
Maintain strategic account profiles and document/disseminate client preferences; maintain regular contact with assigned account principals.
Support customer onboarding and usage of trip planning services.
Ensure all flight planning adheres to FAA, EASA and applicable international regulations and best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 years of international trip operations/flight planning.
- Interest in aviation
- High School Diploma or GED required. Strong computer skills and comfort with operational systems and databases.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills; proven customer service ability.
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain composure in time-sensitive situations.
- Comfort working non-standard hours and across multiple time zones as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Dispatcher certificate or equivalent.
- Prior flight operations, dispatch, or trip planning experience.
- Knowledge of APIS/Advance Passenger Information, customs and immigration processes for multiple regions.
- Experience with international regulatory compliance (FAA, EASA, ICAO procedures).
- Strong mathematical aptitude and aircraft performance knowledge.
- Multilingual skills.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $91,000-$119,000.00
