What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Manager position at JEOL USA, Inc.?
Performs activities for a specific client site including installation, service, maintenance, and repair of company products. This involves servicing the site client tools. Additional responsibilities include:
Qualifying customer calls and confirming daily priorities for local engineers
Reviewing customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service and establish service priority
Performing repair and maintenance work
Interacting with customer on-site and ensuring parts and equipment are available to provide high level service
Keeps records of work hours and parts utilized and prepares reports
Establishes goals per site agreement, evaluates engineering personnel, and recommends training as appropriate
Associates degree in an appropriate area of engineering and/or science from an accredited college or university; plus three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
An understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process
Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues and provide training on the JBX mask platform
