In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with technical teams to tell the stories of our work across the communities we serve. From planning strategic communications to developing engaging content, you’ll shape how JEO’s story is told. This position allows you to make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced, creative, fun, and collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, loves variety, and brings both creative energy and strategic thinking to the table. Responsibilities and DutiesTelling project stories through writing and visuals across a variety of formats (e.g., service sheets, advertisements, social media posts, website articles, award submittals, etc.)Developing communication strategies and content plansCoordinating JEO’s presence at industry conferencesOrganizing project photography and managing vendor coordinationCreating content for the company websiteLeading and contributing to team meetingsProofreading and editing with precision and attention to brand voiceSupporting events and special projectsQualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience working in social media platforms in a professional settingAbility to multitask, think creatively and solve problems proactivelyWorking knowledge of AP Style (preferred)Knowledge of the AEC (architecture/engineering/consulting) industry is a plusWilling to travel regionally up to 10%With offices throughout the Midwest, JEO is proud to offer a robust benefits package designed to support and protect our employees and their loved ones.
