Digital Marketing Strategist (Temporary Position)

Summary

The Digital Marketing Strategist is a data-driven paid media professional who can assist in the strategy and execution across a broad set of channels that directly drive business impact. They help plan, develop and implement digital marketing strategies in accordance with client goals, objectives, standards of performance, and procedures within a fast-paced environment.

Essential Tasks

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of paid media campaigns in a thoughtful and scalable manner while utilizing multiple digital platforms
• Help execute a digital marketing strategy with focus on audience targeting and acquisition, across various objectives such as lead generation, application generation, engagement, and brand awareness
• Work cross-department with designers, writers and project managers to develop highly effective advertising campaigns
• Report out analysis of paid media campaign results to all stakeholders
• Evaluate new media opportunities and propose budgets to benefit both the company and the Client's goals
• Understand and meet the needs of each client's brand and represent their messaging accurately and memorably

Preferred Skills And Experience

• 3 years of relevant professional experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Expertise in setting up paid media campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, Display (StackAdapt preferred), Spotify
• Expertise in optimizing and reporting on paid media campaigns for CPC, CPL, and platform placements
• Understanding of higher education marketing a plus
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft products (Word and PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Google Data Studio for reporting on paid media campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including presentation skills
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships fellow team members, employees, and management
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Proven ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and autonomy
• This person will show strong attention to detail skills as well as ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
  
  

This is a temporary position which will begin in January 2027, and will take place for approximately 12 weeks at 25 hours per week. The hourly rate ranges from $40-45. This temporary position is not eligible for benefits.
