Jensen Meat Company is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales – Foodservice to lead national growth across institutional, distribution, and enterprise foodservice channels. This executive role is responsible for designing and executing scalable commercial strategies, developing high-value partnerships, and driving revenue and margin growth across the foodservice portfolio.
The Director will lead the foodservice sales function, guide go-to-market strategy, and serve as a key commercial partner to executive leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and execute long-term foodservice sales strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives.
· Define channel, pricing, and customer acquisition strategies to maximize margin and market share.
Market Expansion & Enterprise Accounts
· Lead enterprise business development with national foodservice operators, healthcare systems, K–12, and hospitality groups.
· Own executive-level customer relationships and contract negotiations.
Team Leadership & Performance
· Lead, mentor, and develop the foodservice sales manager.
· Establish managerial KPIs, performance standards, and accountability systems.
Go-to-Market & Product Strategy
· Direct foodservice product launches with Marketing, R&D, QA, and Operations.
· Guide product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Channel Partnerships
· Build and manage broker and distributor networks.
· Optimize route-to-market strategy across all foodservice channels.
Financial & Sales Operations
· Own forecasting, pipeline strategy, CRM systems, and revenue reporting.
· Track gross margin, customer profitability, and growth metrics.
· Travel up to 50%.
