What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precast Concrete Production Foreman position at JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURE?
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
A Foreman is a key lead position in our Puyallup facility. From start to finish you are responsible for the production of quality precast concrete products. Working in the production plant you will be on your feet moving quickly through the tasks of your day helping us meet customer needs.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll primarily work with the production team, production supervisor, quality team and the yard team.
A highlight of your day-to-day will include:
- Side by side and leading the production team to perform a variety of production duties including setting up forms, installing inserts, removing excess concrete.
- Reading production drawings and regularly using a tape measure.
- Finishing concrete with various floats and other tools.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

You enjoy seeing a task through to completion and take pride in your work. You can successfully support the Production Supervisor by being an excellent hands-on lead to a small team. You have construction experience. You’re excellent at reading plans and rate yourself a 10 out of 10 at reading a tape measure. You don’t take shortcuts. You’re safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.
