What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Mechanic position at JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURE?
What You'll be Doing
Jensen Infrastructure is recruiting a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, for our (City, State) plant. In this role, you will perform inspections, maintenance, repairs and ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
A highlight of your day-t0-day will include:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, operate and maintain all diesel trucks, forklifts, and moving equipment.
- Assist drivers with vehicle issues.
- Perform DOT required inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and maintenance of equipment.
Who We are Looking for
The ideal candidate will possess the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification with 1-2 years of experience, preferably in an industrial setting. Additional candidate attributes include but are not limited to:
- Familiar with Diesel Engines, Brake System, Hydraulics.
- Familiar with DOT requirements.
- Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction.
- Commercial Driver's License Preferred.
