What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boom Truck Driver- TUC position at JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURE?
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Class A Boom Truck Driver is a key position at Jensen Precast. Every day you’re out in the field, safely delivering precast products.
Reporting to dispatch, you’ll primarily work with customers, delivery drivers and the sales team.
A highlight of your day to day will include:

Transport precast materials, secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport.

Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours, of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.

Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify instructions, and requested routes/drop off location; read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes; drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes.

Qualifications:Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated commercial driving experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Preferred Experience: Between 2 and 5 years
- 3 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Ability to communicate with customers
- Ability to minimize down time between deliveries
- Familiarity with DOT requirements
- Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction
