BFS/CNC Operator (Coring) - Lockeford

Position Summary

The position utilizes a coring machine to drill circular holes into concrete structures per drawings and specifications.

Principle Accountabilities

• Adheres to schedule and maintains regular attendance at work-site. Works overtime as assigned.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, returns all tools after use to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e.: cleaning, organizing). Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions or equipment and notifies supervisor.
• Ensures all equipment is properly locked out and tagged out to set up Coring machine; ensures coring machinery, coring pits, etc. are fully functional and set up properly prior to use; sets up Coring machine to core large holes into concrete structures per production drawings or engineering specifications; ensures everyone is in a safe area prior to running coring machine.
• Verifies dimensions and measurements are 100% accurate prior to starting the process of coring material. 

Position Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
• Machine operation related computer skills.
• Skilled with the use of tools and measurement devices.
