Our growing auto dealership group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Human Resources & Payroll Specialist to manage payroll and human resource functions across three dealership locations.
The ideal candidate will have prior payroll experience, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Prepare and process monthly employee commissions
- Complete payroll tax filings and related reporting
- Manage 401(k) enrollments, contributions, and submissions
- Prepare and maintain commission worksheets
- Administer employee benefits and related paperwork
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employment documentation
- Process employee terminations and related documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment and payroll requirements
- Assist with additional human resources and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior payroll experience is required
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax requirements
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information
- Proficiency with payroll, HR, and Microsoft Office software is preferred
- Automotive dealership or multi-location payroll/HR experience is a plus
