Journeyman Electrician

Jensen Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving Central Iowa, and we're looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential electrical work to join our team.

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 total compensation potential (hourly wage plus commission)
• Paid weekly
• Company vehicle with take-home privileges
• Door-to-door pay—your workday begins when you leave your driveway
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule
• On-call rotation of one weekend per month
• Paid time off

• Four paid holidays after 90 days of employment
• All tools and materials provided

Qualifications

• Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain one within 90 days; out-of-state licenses will be considered)
• 3–5 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong experience in residential service work, remodeling, troubleshooting, panel upgrades, and new construction
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Generator experience is a plus but is not required. Jensen Electric is a certified Generac dealer and will provide training and certification for the right candidate.
