Role Summary
The coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end costing workflow within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role bridges communication between design, technical design, and factory teams to ensure accurate cost data is captured, translated, entered and constantly updated into PLM in alignment with seasonal style development timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preliminary costing exercises based on the Design Deck selections.
- Collaborate with the pricing/planning team to maintain a seasonal Pricing Model Template.
- Send target FOB pricing set by Director following the first Tech Pack to the factory, or at minimum one week before the FIT sample is due, coordinating with factories to provide fabric yield (YY) data when possible.
- Send timely reminders to the factory coordinator to submit cost sheets upon FIT sample approval to ship.
- Translate factory cost sheets into English, verifying that all components and materials align with the PLM Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Conduct thorough verification of cost sheet line items against PLM data before entry.
- Update individual factory price tracking documents with updated counter negotiations.
- Enter BOM yield data from factory cost sheets into PLM BOM fields with accuracy.
- Confirm fabric-supplied status in PLM; coordinate with the appropriate internal contact to verify which additional components require a “supplied” designation.
- Ensure appropriate factory assignment to styles within PLM software
- Build a complete set of cost sheet tables in PLM for each style with a factory cost sheet, covering all required channels
- Oversee the activation of style SKUs in the ERP system, ensuring all styles are set up accurately and in alignment with seasonal development milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to confirm style attributes, colorways, and customizations are complete and approved prior to SKU activation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SKU activation discrepancies, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders to maintain production and buying timelines.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working within a PLM and ERP systems.
- Background in apparel product development, technical design, or merchandising operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and cost verification.
- Ability to read and interpret factory cost sheets, including translating from other languages when necessary.
- Familiarity with garment costing concepts including FOB, landed cost, tariff/duty rates, and BOM structures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles across concurrent development seasons.
- Effective cross-functional communicator, comfortable coordinating with factories, tech design, merchandising, and planning teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for pricing model management.
- Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) is strongly preferred, given regular communication with factory teams and translation of cost sheets.

- Technical Design Team – monitor Tech Pack issuance, FIT sample changes and timelines.
- Fabric Sourcing Team – align on nominated materials pricing is accurately shared with factories.
- Factory Coordinators – manage cost sheet submissions and fabric yield communications.
- Merchandising / Sales Teams – align on WH/RTL pricing targets.
- Production / MTO Team – support accurate cost sheet default settings for cutting processes.
- Marketing Team – provide needed costing data for Marketing documents and follow for photo imagery for SKU uploads in PLM.
