Role Description
Build your music studio with Jennings Music & Education Center. This is a sub-contract, on-site role located in Marietta, GA, for a Guitar / Bass Guitar Teacher at Jennings Music & Education Center. The Guitar Teacher will be responsible for providing one-on-one guitar instruction to students of various skill levels and ages, creating lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and abilities, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Additional tasks may include teaching foundational music theory concepts and collaborating with other instructors for recitals or events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Guitar and Bass Guitar Instruction, technique and strong knowledge of Music Theory
- Experience in Music Education with a passion for teaching students of various skill levels and ages
- Ability to teach Guitar and Bass utilizing established methods or customized to students goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on nurturing students' musical growth
- Flexibility to work on-site at the Marietta, GA location and manage a flexible schedule
- Previous teaching experience and/or a degree in Music or Music Education is a plus
Compensation
Build your music studio with Jennings Music & Education Center. All our instructors are independent contractors so we treat them like partners, not employees. Compensation is based on number of students and length of lessons, as well as the acquisition and retention of students.
