Job Summary
Online Resale & E-Commerce Sales Specialist — Commission-Based
I am looking for a motivated, organized individual to manage the online sale of a large and diverse inventory of items, including women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories, household items, holiday and home décor, luggage, memorabilia, DVDs, CDs, books, and other miscellaneous items.
This is a commission-based opportunity with the potential to be either part-time or full-time, depending on the individual’s availability and the volume of inventory they are able to manage. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and committed to maintaining a consistent minimum level of activity each week.
Responsibilities
Sort, organize, and identify items for sale
Determine the most appropriate marketplace for each item, such as eBay, Poshmark, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, or other appropriate platforms
Photograph and create accurate, appealing listings
Research pricing and recommend competitive selling prices
Write item descriptions and provide necessary measurements/details
Manage listings, pricing, and inventory
Respond to buyer questions and manage offers
Handle each sale from listing through completion
Package and ship sold items to customers
Maintain accurate records of items listed, sold, and shipped
Make reasonable adjustments to pricing or listings when necessary to help items sell
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys online selling, understands how different resale platforms work, is organized and dependable, and knows how to present items in a way that attracts buyers.
Previous experience selling on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
This could be an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience with online resale and wants to turn those skills into a flexible income opportunity.
Compensation: Commission-based. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates.
Schedule: Flexible. Part-time or full-time, with a minimum weekly activity requirement.
