Position: Trojan Shop Assistant Manager
Reports to: Trojan Shop Manager
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year of retail experience and/or training.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Previous experience with social media and website management.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer relations skills.
- Ability to lift thirty pounds to a shoulder height.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To assist in managing the daily operations of the Trojan Shop.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the general functions of the retail store.
- Design and manage the online store.
- Coordinate special order and fundraising projects for District departments and groups.
- Collaborate with the Trojan Shop Manager to forecast consumer demand and order store merchandise.
- Assist in taking the Trojan Shop to school, athletic, and community events.
- Create and rotate store and window displays to showcase merchandise.
- Develop and implement an effective store advertising program, including social media marketing and website maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining accurate store records, including perpetual inventory.
- Help train and assist all employees in the functions of a retail operation.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Employment Terms: Twelve (12) month classified hourly contract
