Position: Clock and Scorebook Keeper
Reports to: Jenks Trojan Hoops Coordinator
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students and adults.
- Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To effectively and impartially keep score and run time clocks for Jenks Trojan Hoops.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Operate the clock in accordance to Jenks Trojan Hoops and Indian Nations Basketball Conference rules and regulations.
- Effectively perform the duties associated with a basketball scorebook. These duties include, but are not limited to: player entry, recording team and individual fouls, running score count, and the possession arrow.
- Ability to remain neutral, unemotional, and not show bias to a team on the court.
- Any other duties associated with game management that the Trojan Hoops Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator assigns.
