Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

Jenkins Plumbing Company is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Associate to support our daily warehouse and field operations. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, pulling, and staging plumbing materials and supplies while helping ensure our crews have what they need to complete their jobs efficiently.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
• Pull and stage materials for plumbing crews and upcoming jobs.
• Load and unload company vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels and help ensure materials are stored in the proper locations.
• Prepare materials and supplies for delivery to job sites.
• Assist with receiving and processing incoming shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and warehouse supplies.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
• Assist branch and field teams with materials and other warehouse-related needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Plumbing or construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record may be required depending on job duties.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions and varying temperatures.
