We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Budget Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all plumbing fixtures, materials, and selections for each home are accurately planned, ordered, and prepared for installation. The Budget Coordinator works closely with builders, field supervisors, and internal teams to verify selections, resolve discrepancies, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Review all lot-specific builder documents, including plans, selections, and purchase orders, to create accurate budgets for each home.
- Collaborate with builders to confirm selections, address discrepancies, and ensure the final product aligns with expectations.
- Ensure that all plumbing fixtures and materials are correctly identified for installation and ordered accurately.
- Support billing accuracy by ensuring all items and upgrades are correctly documented.
- Create and complete budgets in three critical phases:
- Slab Schedule: Develop the initial budget to begin the home.
- Top Out Review: Revisit the budget 2–3 weeks later to verify that no changes or upgrades have been made.
- Final Review (Trim Stage): Conduct a final budget review 2–3 weeks after the Top Out to ensure no additional changes or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each lot throughout the building process.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with builders, field supervisors, and internal departments.
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, scheduling, budgeting, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy.
- A proactive problem-solver who can identify discrepancies and collaborate with builders to resolve them.
- Someone who takes pride in accuracy and understands the importance of correct budgeting for field installation and billing.
