Overview
We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team to provide support to our attorneys in the area of Business Litigation. Qualified candidates will have excellent typing skills, maintain attorney calendars by scheduling client meetings, attorney meetings, depositions, and court appearances, preparing, formatting and editing documents, letters and pleadings, managing case files, and providing administrative support. Assisting with case management, including document organization, filing, and e-discovery. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, experience with Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, experience with downloading of large files for production, as well as the ability to set up Zoom and Google meetings, and the ability to work independently. Organizing and maintaining cases and corresponding physical files by utilizing centralized filing system, which will include lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching and maneuvering rolling filing system. May require exertion up to fifteen pounds of force occasionally to pull case files and carry case boxes. Sedentary work with walking and standing only occasionally required. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and has a passion for the legal field.
