We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Laborer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will apply their trade skills to a variety of tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, and basic carpentry.
- Perform diverse construction and maintenance tasks, which may include erecting scaffolding, spreading gravel, mixing cement and mortar, and general site preparation and cleanup.
- Load and unload building materials and move them to designated areas efficiently.
- Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Proven experience in a similar role or completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g., plumbing, electric, carpentry) is preferred.
- Strong technical proficiency with various tools and techniques.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks and lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
