Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools to ensure accurate installation according to construction plans
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and repairing damaged areas for a seamless appearance
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols during all phases of work
- Conduct drywall repairs or restoration work including water damage remediation or mold remediation when required
Skills
- Experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., knives, trowels), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and specialized equipment used in drywall finishing
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and best practices for working in a safe environment
