Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision using barcode scanning for logistics and order picking systems.
- Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Manage inventory levels accurately through inventory management systems and perform regular stock checks to ensure stock integrity.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Use RF scanners and barcode systems to track inventory movement, update records, and support shipping & receiving processes.
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment, ensuring quality control standards are met during packing procedures.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems.
- Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipments accurately.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use, heavy lifting techniques, and safe operation of warehouse machinery.
- Experience with barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
