We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team on a 4on/4off schedule. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control principles and the ability to perform inspections, testing, and data analysis to ensure product quality. Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, utilizing appropriate inspection methods and equipment.
- Perform routine testing and analysis, accurately recording and interpreting results.
- Identify and document non-conformances, initiating corrective actions and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports, test data, and quality control documentation, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize workflow management techniques to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks, adhering to established schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to address quality-related concerns.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and supervisors regarding quality-related matters.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- General knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
