Job Summary and Job Responsibilities
We are seeking Production Assemblers / Manufacturing Workers as team members for our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include assembling finished products, components and sub-assemblies while ensuring quality control throughout the work center.
- General assembly of finished product and component materials in a light-manufacturing environment. Operation of a variety of tools and equipment, including lamination, slitting, surface treatment, bonding and other typical manufacturing processes. Stamping press operation. Manual hand assembly using fixtures, scissors and cutting blades.
- Product inspection and packaging including verification of quantities and dimensions using calipers, weight scales and go/no-go gauges.
- Receiving and incoming material inspection.
- Inventory quantity verification (inventory count).
- Track and record time and job status via data collection software. Clock in and out as required, such as the start and end of the work day, lunch time and breaks. Clock in and out of jobs as required and record the job details such as quantity completed and scrap material. Record job notes and document set-up procedures and modifications.
- At the end of each day, employee shall be responsible cleaning their area(s). Upon request, employee shall clean common areas such as office, entrance and restrooms.
Essential Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent desired.
- Experience in a manufacturing production environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally; ask questions, communicate with fellow team members, and understand direction from managers.
- Demonstrated professionalism and personal integrity.
- JEMIC performs work for multiple government agencies, and satisfactory background checks are required.
- 90-day trial period* with review at 25, 50 and 75 days.
- Full time or part time.
- Manufacturing runs 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Salary: commensurate with experience
- $15.00 - $15.80 /hour: Assembler I (depending upon experience)
- $16.20 - $18.20 /hour: Assembler II (depending upon experience)
- * $500 sign-on bonus! Payable after 90 days and upon meeting the eligibility terms. To be eligible, the new employee must work 500 hours in their first 90 days of employment from their start date and have satisfactorily completed their 90-day trial period. Further details available upon request.
