Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Provider to join our team. The PSR Provider will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges by facilitating their recovery and enhancing their quality of life. This position involves working closely with clients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans, providing counseling, and utilizing various therapeutic techniques to promote emotional and psychological well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, focusing on gender issues counseling, psychopharmacology, and art therapy.
- Facilitate skill-building activities that promote socialization, coping strategies, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with organizational policies.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources.
Qualifications
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
- Experience in providing psychosocial rehabilitation services or similar roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of gender issues counseling, psychopharmacology, and art therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
